The future of virtual workshops

If the pandemic taught us anything it was that virtual events were amazing. You were able to get access things from the comfort of your sofa that you could not before, whether it was an author Q&A, theatre production, or a codebar workshop.

Historically you could only attend codebar events, and get access to our free workshops, if you happened to be in one of our chapter locations. But, this all changed in March 2020 and we realised very quickly the impact virtual workshops were having. We were helping more people learn to code than ever before, and therefore people who weren’t able to attend now could.

As workshops started to return to in-person we knew virtual workshops had to stay. It has just taken us a while to figure out how this structure looks. Read on to find out how this will look!

Virtual ones really worked for me, and I felt like I was able to do more/concentrate better without the address stress of commuting. So I really hope the virtual ones continue.

We hope this stops confusion around which chapter to subscribe to if you want to attend virtual workshops only. If you would like to attend in-person London and virtual workshops, then you only need to subscribe to these 2 chapters now, not all UK ones.

If you would like to attend any of our Virtual UK workshops as a student or coach, please sign up here https://codebar.io/virtual-uk.
